The agreement between you and Global Tutoring Lab.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and tutoring services provided by Global Tutoring Lab ("GTL", "we", "us"), registered in Sri Lanka. By booking a session, using our website, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you are booking on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian.
GTL provides live, online 1:1 tutoring aligned to the British National Curriculum (with additional curricula added over time), together with related resources and progress reporting. Sessions are delivered by vetted tutors on our online classroom platform. We also offer managed tutor-supply services to education businesses under separate commercial arrangements.
You can request a free trial session or a paid session through our website, WhatsApp, or email. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date and time with you. The free trial is offered once per family and is subject to tutor availability. We aim to confirm bookings within 2 hours during Gulf business hours (9am–9pm GST).
Sessions for Years 2 to 6 (British curriculum) are priced on two plans: Standard at AED 79 per session, or AED 69 per session when a block of 12 sessions is prepaid; and Premium at AED 99 per session, or AED 89 per session on a prepaid block of 12. A free trial session is available with no obligation. Fees are quoted in AED and are fixed at the time of booking. Monthly and multi-session plans are tailored after the free trial and are invoiced at the start of each billing cycle. Online payments are processed securely through our payment gateway, PayHere, and accepted methods include credit and debit cards. Bank transfer is also available. Sessions are delivered once payment or a valid payment arrangement is in place. Itemised receipts are provided for every transaction, and approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the purchase, as set out in our Refund Policy.
We understand plans change. Rescheduling and cancellation notice periods, and the circumstances in which fees are refundable, are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We match each student with a tutor experienced in their year group and curriculum. If the match is not working, let us know and we will rematch you at no charge. We may substitute a tutor where necessary (for example, illness) and will always aim to maintain continuity and quality.
Child safety is central to our service. All tutors are vetted and trained in safeguarding and data privacy. Sessions follow professional conduct standards. If you have any concern about a session, contact us immediately and it will be escalated to a designated safeguarding lead.
All materials provided by GTL — including worksheets, the Gulf Maths Toolkit, lesson content, and platform features — remain our intellectual property and are provided for your family's personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not resell, redistribute, or reproduce our materials for commercial purposes without written permission.
We are committed to high-quality teaching and measurable progress, but learning outcomes depend on many factors including attendance, effort, and time. We do not guarantee specific grades or examination results.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GTL is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date shows the latest revision. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
